Bosch Technologies ("we") is the responsible party for the personal information you give us through GeeTee. We process it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), only to manage your job applications.
What we collect
Your name and email address, how you sign in, your CV and the profile details you provide, the roles you apply for and the status of those applications, and assessment results if you take a HackerRank assessment.
How we use it
- To consider you for the roles you apply for.
- To help recruiters rank applications. Automated tools, including AI models, extract information from your CV and suggest how well it matches a role. These are suggestions only: a person reviews every application and makes every decision. Your name and contact details are removed before the AI scores a match.
- To send you a skills assessment (HackerRank) when a recruiter selects you.
We only process your information for these purposes, with your consent, which you give when you apply.
Who processes it for us, and where
These service providers process your information on our behalf, under agreements that require them to keep it secure and use it only for the service they provide to us. Because they are outside South Africa, your information is transferred across borders (POPIA section 72).

How long we keep it
If your account is inactive and you have no open applications, we delete it and your CV after 12 months. Server backups that may contain your information are kept for up to 14 days on our server and are then overwritten.
Your rights
You can download all your data or delete your account from your dashboard at any time. Deleting your account also deletes your sign-in account with WorkOS. You may also ask us to correct your information, object to processing, or withdraw consent (by withdrawing your applications or deleting your account), and you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
